I hope the world DOES end tommorow, just to prove me wrong

The font page story of the Statesboro paper is about how terrified people are about tommorow being 6-6-06. LAME. And they're talking about it on the radio. I actually heard someone say, "Yeah, 6-6-6 has never happened before and will never happen again." Oh, the pain of the ignorant - news has turned into just one more type of entertainment, ( Read more... )

What You Are Now: undecided

And this 6/6/06 crap really ticks me off. It happens every 100 years, not to mention that we're nowhere close to the same calander system that was possibly used in the bible. Also, somewhere in Revalations, it says something about the "judgement" or whatever coming when mankind doesn't expect it.

Excuse my pathetic knowledge of religious texts. >.>

*HUGS* Thanks!

And congratulations on your wedding/crazy-awesome party. I'm supah excited for you, and I'm disapointed that I can't come, especially considering recent circumstances. Anyways my fellow Statesboro-escapee, you rock.

Waht really makes this funny is that scholars are now pretty cerain that the whole 666 thing is a mistranslation. the number mentioned int eh old texts is actually 616.
As of the the panicing sheep, what is bad about 6606? The BIG BAD DAY actually came in the year 6 AD. But that won't work, Jesus was still a little kid at the time......

And they weren't even using the same calander back then, so the date 6-6-6 never actually existed anyway. Further, I think it's very egotistical to assume that God (if he exists) cares about our silly man-made numbers. If he wanted to end the world, wouldn't he just send down an enormous lightning bolt or something?
