Tufts is going well. They keep us pretty busy during Orientation going to Open Houses and whatnot, which is good. I've met so many new people (they're all really cool), but I haven't really made any friends yet. I mean, there are definitely people to sit with and I can introduce myself to anyone, but no one I can call up and hang out with on a ( Read more... )

"I'm going to do fencing, student government, community outreach, theater, and write for the paper." You know there are a bunch of other students at Tufts too right? If you're doing all that, what are they going to have left to do? :-P

Try them out, find out which ones you enjoy the most. Even just dabbling in different activities can make you a lot of different lasting friends, but especially with classes and spending time with new friends, you'll want to have some free time leftover for yourself.

Hey, I'm MUCH older than a senior and I think you were doing them the favor by gracing them with your presence. ;-) Jay's right (did I just admit that?!?!!?), don't overdo it - choose the things you like best and stick with those. I'm excited that you're finding so much that interests you!! Of course, I expect reserved seats to your first theatre production and a link to read your articles in the paper.
