I must say this holiday season was a big improvement over last year. I had ample time off during both Christmas weekend and New Year's weekend, allowing me to visit my family in Tucson on both occasions. And when all was finished, I returned to a nice apartment in a nice town with a nice hospital. I could not say that last year.

So, even though my last med lab job didn't work out, I've found another. It took me a while seeing as I was initially looking in Arizona. For reasons I do not understand, Arizona seems to be chock full of med lab workers with more experience than me, making employment in that state almost impossible. As per usual, TASS (Tucson Animation Screening Society) had a Halloween get-together (on Oct 27) which I attended. Truth be told, it was not much different from a regular anime screening. This con I attended last weekend was a lot of fun. The new location was a vast improvement over last year. Lots of space, easy to navigate, and everything was in one building.
