we have trauma suits for the blood baths. they're these head to toe blue blood repellant gowns, hats and knee high shoe/leg gaurds, complete with double gloves and plastic face sheilds. they are funny at first, when youre waiting for the ambulance to arrive with their red romeo sevens - full arrests. but from your perch on the cpr stool, ( Read more... )

i really wonder how i'd cope in a situation like any number of the ones you describe above. do you find that it becomes normalised eventually?

also, regarding the bit about the ladies and the hair: welcome to my school. i just get to sit in a room with 18 ladies surrounded by mirrors. we are finally starting to learn bone structure and make latex things and zombies, etc. yeesh.

oh man..i am sorry for the tension with work lady. it's shitty when you find people you like in job situations and the rug gets pulled from under ya someway. fuck man. she didn't take it well i guess?
