time is kinda skating by really quickly. i spend about half my time being very awsomely productive and in a fabulous mood, and the other half with this 'false labour' nonsense which has me doubled over with contractions 5 minutes apart for hours on end that make me really stressed out and cranky then stop. it rules. im 'due' on monday tho. what the ( Read more... )

oh i wish you were coming here too. winnipeg is SO MUCH AWESOMER then india.

people are idiots. i hate them. i already threaten to withold the grandchild. its the only one out of 9 children on both sides so it seems to be a sort of trump card. my mom is already asking if she can take care of the baby when we go to chriss family reunion in ireland. in december. for two weeks. when the kid is like three and a half months old. (well your grandma looked after you when i went on a ski trip when you were 6 weeks old).

You DO look gorgeous :D

People always get the most annoying towards you when you're pregnant I find. Either they ignore it completely or they turn into rattling judgements or assumations. And I don't even know if assumation is a word, but it fit. The people around me are driving me nuts.

So I've taken to showing it the very split second they drive me nuts.

example: Going to the zoo for a "fun" day of waddling in +30C heat and I'm tired and grab a coffee. Father says "Baby must LOVE that.." and I say "SHUT THE FUCK UP caffiene is fine in small amounts".

Yeah, I'm THAT preggo girl. Hehe.

I hope the baby stays in until your midwife is back! Nothing worse then having someone you don't like all up in yr junk.

my blanket response to everyones opinions is that i am teaching my child resilience. one of my coworkers was lecturing me at 4am how coffee was bad for the baby and how HIS wife NEVER did anything bad for the babies when she was pregnant. i asked how she got trough her twelve-hour night-shifts in the ER and he was like, horrified and was all 'my wife didnt work!" well there you have it. it isnt coffee thats bad for the baby, its work! one of my other very christian co workers told me that i needed to stop swearing because the baby could hear me. okie. i was like, guys, the baby is going to have ME for a mother. hearing swearing in utero is really just warming them up for the rest of their life.

I thought I was being all funny with the "popping." Guess not. I've never been pregnant. Sorry.
Too bad you didn't make the bus tour.

i think you should tell people that you aren't pregnant- it's a tumour. that should shut them up. i'm excited about folklorama, although if you've already been to the buff men and sparkly bikini pavilion...
oh and i think rob is relieved that you are going to folklorama with me cuz i don't think he was too keen.
