Worlds Most Stubborn Lazy Baby (tm) has been holding court in my gut a bit too long and now my midwife has to drop me. Boo. but she is Worlds Best Midwife and changed my due date again to keep me a few days extra and is coming in on her weekend off to hang out and party with me through getting aforementioned Stubborn Lazy Baby booted. Oh mamacita, I can relate. I hadn't planned for a homebirth, but I'd planned for a natural one, and when I didn't go into labor on my own, I felt defeated. Then that feeling of failure snowballed and suddenly I had a birth unlike what I'd wanted. I know you are disappointed, but please don't let that same thing happen to you. Move to your new corner, regroup, and make a new plan so that you can avoid that ( ... )

aww thanks julie, that makes me feel tonnes better. im bouncing back today, i feel like theres so much to do now that im for real having a baby as opposed to the hypothetical chance the baby may be born one day.

hey kid, so i also don't have much to weigh in on, except to say i'm thinking about you and chris and excited for the stubborn baby to be here soon! (also that maybe your doc and the l&d nurses will be awesome...i'm thinking that mirror bizness sounds pretty good too).
