Johnny Depp, Clin Farell and Jude Law all donated what they made on their newest movie 'The imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus' to Heath Ledgers daughter Matilda, as he did not have a will when he passed. Amazing
A-MAZING. I've heard that Johnny Depp is actually one hell of a guy, and is known for going the extra mile, but this is just above and beyond. Incredible men!
Not really. When you're already richer than God it's pretty easy to give away money. Good on them for doing it for a friend but it's a hell of a lot easier for someone rich like that to give away loads of cash than it is for modest folk like you and I.
Keep in mind I do fully understand the greed that comes with being famous and rich, but I also understand that while I give to no charities because, frankly, me eating is more important, famous people give to many charities.
I really have no concept of how you work things out in your head. Sure, it's easier to give away money if you are rich. But how many do? I am not familiar with any other stories about any actor working for free on a movie ( let alone three ) to ensure the future of a young child unrelated to them. Are you? Furthermore, this isn't a charity.
I think generosity in any form is amazing. ESPECIALLY in the world we live in today.
Logic: People are likely to help their friends/family. Not everyone but I'm sure you'd agree most decent people would help their friends and family in a time of need
