I'm sorry to see that you're hurting, Jon. You are a supremely emotional being, and therefore completely self-absorbed. I'm not saying you're conceited, or selfish, or anything bad, you just feel your pain so much and so deeply that you tend to forget that other people feel it too. I'm sorry you're leaving your journal, since it's the only way I have to keep up with you, but please e-mail me if you need an impartial observer.

I don't know anything that's gone on in your life, and I don't really know how you feel, but I do know that you're part of a much grander universe than your own, and the pain will subside. It always does.
