I am in America now, I feel like a zombie. I would go back to bed but I'm waiting for my bag that was left behind in Chicago to arrive

Are you referring to your actual friends who worked yearbook or people who looked at the yearbook? I must admit I didn't look all that closely, because I thought it was a shitty yearbook and really ugly to boot.
The "excuse" was that they were making 2 yearbooks at once, because the yearbook editor before the one this year fucked up and never made one of them. However, I tried doing yearbook this year (I did yearbook in high school and it's a tedious but not difficult job) and the editor never got back to me.
I didn't mean non '05 seniors if that's what you're asking....well maybe one but not you. That definitely descends the depths of ineptitude if they wouldn't let you help them.
To make you feel even better-- you're one of many, many people who got left out of the yearbook. There are entire houses missing from the yearbook. Hey, there were calls to get the entire thing redone (though arguably, no luck. From what I hear not even any luck with getting the photo fee refunded if they ignored your photo). Also, Smith facebook now has a students for a better yearbook group that got set up once the 06's started to panic about their yearbook being of equal quality. Anyway, the thing's not even any good as a doorstop. It is completely useless.
Does it make me sad if I feel better that it's not just me left out? I just got an email though that they will refund my sitting fee, so that also makes me feel better.
Ouch, that's nasty about the yearbook. But it's true, yearbooks are useless things, without even doorstop value; and don't feel rejected about it, because it just sounds like the result of a monumental fuckup, and is surely nothing personal.
Good luck with your interview, and with future toast-making efforts x
