Seras remembers to go to the door and knock this time. But she's keeping her third eye on the other side, and if it's Yumiko on the other side of the door, she's ready to bolt before she's seen.

She promised to explain some things, and now is as good a time as any.

It's not often a vampire knocks. Sonia spies Seras through the peephole and opens the door, heading out and shutting it behind her.

"You remembered. It might be for the best if we talked outside of the house." If Yumiko came upstairs while Seras was in the house, that could be very bad.

Seras screwed up last time she came to visit. She'll knock at least the next few times.

"Yeah. Well. Some stuff needs saying, so... here I am. Anyway, yeah, wherever you think is best. I don't want to upset her any more. Have a picnic table or something we can sit at?"

"Follow me." Not too far away, there is a bench for them to sit on.

"What exactly did happen to you? I went to the castle to check on you, and they wouldn't let me past the front door. They said they weren't sure when you would be up to seeing visitors or leaving your room." I was concerned for you, she leaves unsaid.

"That's some of what I need to explain. Only, it's not exactly easy, so give me a little breathing room, if I need it?" She goes on without waiting for an acknowledgement. "What happened to Yumiko... well, the same sort of thing happened to me. When you came to see me, I was-" She pauses, trying to figure out how to word things. "I wasn't sane. I saw things that weren't there. Everything was attacking me. Even Alucard seemed like he was a threat. You would have terrified me. And it wasn't getting better at all, for days, so Alucard decided he needed to take me away for a while. I've been gone for a year." She knows she'll have to explain that a bit more, but needs to take a breather. This stuff isn't easy to talk about.
