The vast majority of you on my Friends list are also connected to enough poetry slam folks to have heard the news by now.  Brenda Moossy passed away this weekend after a battle with cancer.

She was one of the dearest souls  and finest poets that I was fortunate enough to witness step to a mic.

BTW, at that time Brenda just released her new book . Danny was raving all time about her poetry saying something like "just when you think you figureed it out, you read Brenda's poem in which she said it much better."
