That garden is awesome and it is great to see the cats out enjoying it.
I have to ask about slow worms...what are they?
I have yet to see a fast one....heeeee!
Nice azaleas...pretty in pink.

Also wanted to say that I hope Socks doesn't suffer too much. Poor baby.

Thanks Ilene. We've just been talking about it here, trying to make 'the decision'. Trying to be grown up, you know, and do the right thing, but it's not easy!

Thank you.

I hope you like the lilac - I enjoyed the pictures of yours - it's a dwarf variety and doesn't 'sucker' which is perfect for our small garden :)

the garden is indeed beautiful. we had to say goodbye
to our 15-year-old Lab last month, whom we'd only had
for about 18 months. my son had him for about 11 years,
though, so we'd known him for some time. ~paul

Hi Paul. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your lab. It's a wrench - they work their way into your lives and hearts, don't they.

Hope you're OK?

I'm sorry to hear about your cat... I know this has to be a hard time for you.

Your pictures are so lovely, can I come live in your back yard? ;-)

Thanks - yes, it's not easy, but at least we've finally made 'the decision'.

Yes, you're always welcome to live in the yard - but there won't be any lawn for you to mow!

Thanks for the blessings Luna.
I guess the upsides of owning pets will always beat the downsides, so that's how we'll deal with it - he's been lovely company for the time we've had him.

I haven't been to London for ages, so I'm looking forward to it. I love getting the overland railway to Canary Wharf and looking down over the city :)
