Nuthing to say really - but because I've been absent from LJ from some time (long enough that Cowboy decided I needed a poke), I figured I'd post and let all know I'm still a part of this world.

Just a thought:

What does the "average" citizen think when they see cops sneaking through their backyards at 9:30p with handguns out and rifles?

It was kinda amusing to see their faces as we walked by open windows and such...

Ok... now the spider has gone missing. I just wonder if something larger has eaten it or if it is lying in wait for me...

When I went to work today - it was a small mosquito on the wall. When I arrived home tonight - it had mutated into a huge spider.

I think maybe I shouldn't leave the apartment tomorrow, who knows what that could turn into!!

Arrested my first, solo, OWI tonight. They are different when you are the primary officer, but there was no doubt in my mind that he was over the legal limit. He ended up blowing a 0.13 ( Read more... )

I'm going to start training for the Mad City Marathon that will be run May 27, 2007.

I must be crazy, but this is something that has a definite goal and something that I will either succeed at (finish the run at any time) or I will fail. I like things that are clear cut with no grey in them.

A long, boring day. Not the ideal shift/beat I would have chosen for my birthday. Very easy day. In fact, I did no work - my partner (yes, I was paired up with a partner for a special assignement today) took all the reports and I did nothing really.
