So I just found out that St. Katherine's is apparently going to be a part of the English court at Cal Ren Faire, as of today. Very interesting...

Not sure how often we'll be able to make it out there, or when we are supposed to register, or who'll we play yet, but it should be fun to play noble with some of my friends from Southern.

Hi Sasha! I can understand why they are not doing that faire. Most of St. Michael's isn't doing it either, only the Germans are doing it as a group. The faire itself is a LONG drive for everyone, from here in the San Fernando Valley it's over 2 hours away. I think that most of the groups from Southern want to observe the faire in it's first year and make up their minds about if they want to participate in the future. I hope that you'll come out and visit at least once. :)

Yeah!! I'll be there at least one weekend myself. :-D

I don't know my schedule yet so I can't make promises on CRF or Northern but I'll be at both at least one weekend. I'm making sure of that if nothing else!

It's a shame that there are so many faires going on at the same time, and both are somewhat far away. We aren't sure what weekends we can promise either. Are there any of your group that will be working Cal Ren Faire all weekends?

There are a few that will be working all weekends. I think 13 people have registered (including myself) but I know that, like me, not all of them will be doing all weekends. Look for the boys in red and the girls in blue. ;-)

Either way I go, I'll have a drive - I live in San Diego. CRF is a lesser drive obviously but I really do love Northern faire. It's a tough choice...

Saw some pictures of Joe in English nobles outfit. Very amusing! :)

You did? Did you see Sue's pictures from Big Bear faire? It was very interesting playing English nobility. I rather think that I enjoy it. It is a fun change. I've been playing Scottish and then Irish for the past 11 years! And English accent is SO much easier for me. Poor Joe kept trying to fight having an Irish accent pop out. *lol* Will you be Baron Mountjoy at Cal Ren Faire?
