Writer's Block: The Greenest Grass

Men of course. I hate being female, absolutely hate it. We're such a boring gender: men occupy both extremes of any spectrum while we're the boring, average middle. They are stronger than us, have better skin, don't need make-up, don't go through a pointless biological process every month just so they know they're not pregnant and don't have an ( Read more... )

Women have historically been the oppressed gender, making it extremely hard for the creative ones/geniuses to be recognized.

Women don't NEED makeup either -- that's something society pressures women to use. However, men's cosmetics are on the rise.

Women live longer and are typically healthier. We are not expected to die for our country. We are not expected to be the providers and protectors. We are not as likely to kill ourselves.

Evolution has not made any sex inferior to the other, human stupidity has. Biologically, we have different functions to ensure the survival of the species, but we are equal.

Thank you! This is exactly what I'm thinking. Women shouldn't complain about wearing make up and having to keep up with fashion. It's a choice they make. We could stop doing it and men would get over it. Getting pregnant is a choice as well... no one forces you to have a kid.

Although IQ testing is a gendered bell curve, with more men than women being both geniuses and retards, women score consistently higher in EQ tests.

Evolution has also made women better than men at picking up intentions and traits from first impressions as premodern women had to be 'defenders of the tribe'.

Women are generally more flexible than men and so find sports such as mat gymnastics far easier.

I could probably think of more but I'm an individualist, not a gender theorist. Good luck with the sexism though.
