Yeah, I'm really glad I was able to be calm for her at the end. She always keyed off my emotions, to the point of developing interstitial cystitis.
She was such a love ...

After she passed, the vet told us we'd taken such good care of her, and I replied with a sob "She took care of me for fifteen years" :) I've been very blessed to have shared so much time with her.
