Looking after weskeag's cats this week while he's casing out a job in Houston.
They are very cute.
Not that we are at all soluble in cats.
Natasha and Boris are littermates. Natasha is my favorite - a usually bold tabby with white markings and an attitude a little like my Shinutsu's. Boris and baankhka have bonded.

Thanks for looking after the cats :).
But anyway, they hired me, so I'm here for another week before coming back to fetch the cats.
$700. pet deposits are an atrocity, and should be banned.

I like that. It sounds like kind of psychedelic and loopy like "physics equations should be soluble in cats" or perhaps even something from chemistry, with cats as solvents.
The IP address on the message is (or should be, if DNS hasn't messed up) the University of Houston Library, where I'm sitting right now on my day off, after a morning of chasing down rental applications.
Anyway, posting to LJ will get a lot easier once I get an ISP here.

Yes, the idea is that the cats are solvents and I mix,well basically completely, with them. I'm infinitely soluble in cats. Needless to say, I stay away from shelters and even the part of Petsmarts where they have adoptees, b/c I can't afford to look after another long-term. But between baankhka and I, well, cats are rather effective solvents around here so we seem to end up finding about 1 stray per year that we adopt off.
Glad things are working out there with the job ... must be a big relief. I'm plugging away here, at least I'm getting feedback on some of my applications. Better than last time, a year ago, when the economy really was abysmal.
