fervently she whispered to herself shook herself straight... damn it, why don't you wake up?poor girl, she's been invisible to herself

This is one of the things I love about you: Your intensity of emotion. There's a quest going on within you, an undefined searching and yearning to not only understand the world but understand yourself as well.
What is it Shakespeare said and so many have quoted?
"All the world's a stage."
Just play your part as you see fit. In the end, the only true critic you'll ever have to answer to is yourself. Noone else really matters.
I'm thrilled that you understood what I was trying to do. I wanted to just post a thought rather than a journal entry, and I wasn't sure how it would play out. My writing's a bit rusty... But *you saw right through the invisible girl* and I love you for that.

To thine own self be true.maestrodogSeptember 20 2004, 14:42:15 UTC
Right or wrong, your choices are your own and define the person you are. Nobody can take that away from you.
There is another old saying that the surest way to fail in life is to try and please everyone all the time. It won't happen. You can't make everyone happy all the time. You can't make ANYONE happy all the time, not even yourself. If you make a mistake, don't waste time berating yourself...instead, learn from it. You're special in your own way.

The worst is that sometimes I don't know what makes me happy... I think I'm happy when others are. I took a sociology class once and this stuck: "I am not who you think I am I am not who you think I am I am who I think you think I am..." Accurate, don't you think? And thank you, for the billionth time.
HA! your writing rusty? er NO! lol like damn man, i wish i can WRITE like that, and holy shoot, it was easy to read! i love poems and i really admire people who can not only express themselves through art but also with the words they use....i just sometimes hate ( more like get frustration with ) them poems with big words...
i love reading your stuff, i really love the words you use, and thats really awesome how red is the symbolic color you use to describe yourself
my fave color is silver/grey, thats the only color i saw when i was growing up ><;;
