Santa Barbara With Charlie

I went to college at UCSB and well remember State St, although I'm sure many of the businesses that used to be there are gone. I'm not surprised at the hotel prices; I remember also how expensive the rooms were, and having to drive to Ventura to get a decent place to sleep.

I hope you had a good time...if I'd known you were going I would have recommended you watch a movie at La Cumbre Plaza, which affords just about the best tiered-view seats of the screen I've ever seen in ANY movie theater.

Glad you had a good fun time...and you look great, as usual!

why, thank you! and thanks for the suggestion. as far as movies in SB go, sounds like a great idea, but we're usually only down there for the day or so. have you ever been to the IMAX in hollywood? that's my favorite one! missed you! if you're ever bored, i posted...finally.

you're awesome, thank you! my hair has gotten so much longer now so i decided to give it a little snazzy $70 haircut (just to make me feel better about breaking up with Charlie and everything else that's going on). ♥

Well, it's complicated. Yeah, I guess you can call this living. I just got a job and am waiting for them to give me my first assignment. Charlie and I broke up--I think; but at any rate, he's driving me nuts. How are things with you?

Will peep at your journal later on today.

You've definately gone through some changes since last we met. You are working now? doing what? I miss you, I wanna see you, Drop me a line. I never even touch my journal anymore, so it may not look any different than the last you saw of it.

Ah, I've been painting actually (see my latest entry for a picture), and I recently got a job as a document reviewer. I go around to different lawfirms and they tell me what to look for amid a thousand stacks of paper...it's temporary, but it pays well. I haven't actually started. Heh. But I expect it sucks.
I miss you! I hope you're doing ok--what have you been doing?
