I went to my parents' house for a week, which was about all the vacation I've had this summer. I know, I know, it's not really a sob story. Still, it depresses me that a week's vacation will be typical from here on in. So long, summer, you've served me well

Hey, I was going to tell you that Katie Dietrich is starting at Penn State this semester, working on her Masters in... education? Environmental Science? Something? Anyway, check facebook, that's how I found out, but I'm sure she'd be happy to hear from you, etc. And talk about the alumni connection!

Good luck on the thesis. I'm sure once you get into it, you'll really start to enjoy it.

Yeah, Katie messaged me a while back to let me know she'd be in the area this fall. I think she's in the Geography program. I gave her all my contact info so I hope she gets in touch with me when she moves in.
