Had my first job offer a while back...turned it down today. Now I'm experiencing serious inner turmoil because it's looking increasingly likely that there won't be any other job offers for public schools within driving distance from here, despite the fact that I applied to 14 separate school districts and 2 local education agencies. If it makes you feel any better, I also took PRAXIS exams all day. It was...less than fun. Especially the part where I wrote 12 pages in longhand. God, I loathe ETS. Best of luck with your scores.

I too, could be a barista, since teaching jobs in the Twin Cities don't seem to be forthcoming.

So, empathy all 'round, really.
