He'd left fairly later than he'd planned on because of Owen, but he knew all the shortcuts by now to getting to the temple and he used all of them. He was surprised when he saw Bill, though, and he greeted the man warmly.

"I see I'm not the only one interested in the temples." He grinned and, in ancient Egyptian, added, "Too bad these aren't pyramids, hmm?"

That would have been perfect, but Daniel was still thrilled with what he had.

"If only," Bill replied, returning the grin. "It's still bloody brilliant, though."

"Boys," I greet, dropping down from a natural ledge a bit above the temples opening, landing crouched and brushing myself off slightly as I stand.
