At request of ChezB (WINOLJ), the 110 banned books meme ... and boy was this a pain in the tuchas. Took me a few tries to copy the list of books without the formatting and paste it into Semagic.

No way was I gonna remove all those nifty little HTML formatting tags. Yeah, I'm sure there was an easier way of doing it than pasting the list into MS ( Read more... )

Not that anyone (else) is counting, but I am relieved to see that you are even worse about finishing books than I am.

I will reciprocate (eventually) but simply must finish some homework first. ;)

H'mmm. Dunno if I'm actually that bad at finishing books... I was being conservative about what I counted as "finished." I don't remember if I actually read all of Dr. Zhivago, f'r instance. I know for sure I didn't read all of Don Quixote -- bored the hell out of me, even tho' it was assigned for 2 different college classes. Bah, picaresque novels. Anything longer than Candide is too long, if you ask me. Altho' you didn't...
