Sigh. Thanks. I miss her an awful lot. And it's hard to be without parents -- one loses a lot of one's history and family history. I still have family, but not a lot of it, and my mom was the "glue" to my hometown and to my extended family.
The last five years have been... complicated, to say the least. And really hard. Good things have happened, too, and i'm trying not to make a lifework out of how bad the bad parts have been, but let's just say my therapist has job security. Feel free to read back in my older entries...
And apologies for not replying to your email, btw. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what to say and how to say it when I'm not happy with myself and my life.
YES. Definitely. We should schmooze on this. I may not actually *go* to Arisia, tho'... it's not my favorite con. In that case, I'd want you to take a commission either in percentage of sales (in addition to splitting base costs) or in earrings ;-}.
