First Official Update for 2011! T3T
First of all, Happy New Year!!!
And in a horribly, horrendously late manner, I wanted to thank everyone who wished me happy birthday wishes...from over THREE months ago. *facepalms* Got some catching up to do!
Thank you so much to gawy_lavall, lusiology, enchanted_jae, gyobaku, strigine, lkaet, and cleo_joy for the marvelous v-gifts! They made me so happy to receive them and I enjoy looking at them (especially the food).
And thank you so much to anti_paragon, dysonrules, subtlefire, yggdrasilian, magical_jen, scarlet_scarlet, babydracky, and not_sally for the well-wishes via PM! They really meant a lot to me. ^_______^
I wanna do something nice back because you really did make my day totally awesome! I know it's not much (and I can only apologize for that) but please, if you'd like a little sketch from me, comment below with a fandom, pairing, and prompt of a word/action/object and I'll do a comment sketch in return. Can't promise immediate responses but I will get to them. *shuffles feet*
Second of all, to my two commissions from the charity auctions, gossymer and hogwartshoney, yes, I have not forgotten and I swear I will fulfill my artings for you! @_@
-gossymer, I'm in the coloring stage but it goes. I hope to complete the flat color filling within the next couple of weeks and I'll send you the files.
-hogwartshoney, I think I'll expand my original picture for you to include at least two more frames. I should send you a revised draft in a few weeks. My apologies for the radio silence! DDD:
Third of all, I should get around to posting all the pictures I've done for recent fests, etc.
- My art for joosetta's incredible Inception Big Bang story, Uncertainty, is posted here. The story itself is truly amazing and awe-inspiring, with all the thrills, characterizations, plot, and world building that make it feel so authentically like the movie! It's really an exciting action/suspense/adventure that I'm very honored to have been even a little part of it! I really hope I haven't shamed my author! T3T
- I do hope to make a master Inception art post sometime soon-ish (which will contain an abundance of chibis and crack, as that is apparently all my head can deal with in Inception fandom). And after I clear the backlog of fests, and in between commission breaks, I hope to work on some more dorky ideas. *sighs and admits to being kinda lame*
- In H/D, I hope to do a bit more pictures for my Chasing Pirates!Verse before posting it at rahly_furverted (to be locked, sorry guys).
Also, there are about 2 or 3 major ideas I've always wanted to do in H/D as well.
1) Veela!Draco *so unashamed over here*
2) Secret-Spy-Aristocrat!Draco and Scarlet-Pimpernel!Harry
3) my ultimate love, chibi H/D little mermaid.
These will happen someday, I so swear it! I got to cross off Tarzan!H/D and Pirate!H/D (which were things I had always been dying to do). But all three ideas mentioned above are long and involved, so I'll have to see how things go.
Fourth of all, to all my H/D peeps out there (if you're still around this dusty old journal and in spite of this being incredibly late), I just wanted to mention:
So much love does my Hufflepuff heart so much good and I heart arineat so for showing us that the H/D love is still so strong! Thank you to all the lovely anons who may have written kind words about me and you all make me so proud to be a part of this fandom. You can also go here to see a masterlist of sorts. It's truly long and full of love.
And lastly, my deepest thanks and gratitude to everyone who commented on something I've done. I apologize for not getting to answering comments but I've appreciated every one! I shall do my best, starting forward, to do better about that!!!
