I'm probably old fashioned for saying this but maybe you don't have to spend outrageous amounts of money on each one, making someone a home made present can be totally awesome depending on the person. I myself am a huge fan of home made stuff cuz it shows me that someone took the time for me, and thought about me while they were making it. My mom on the other hand doesn't like that kind of stuff, she feels insulted and that it's tacky or something. It all depends on the person.
