So my dad installed XP on my system last night. I just got my PC back..and am trying to mess around with it. We have XP on his laptop..so I know somewhat how it works, as well as at work(though they block everything on it). Only part that sucks is I don't have ANY of my bookmarks. *sobs* But he has my old 98 backed up so I guess I'll just need him

wah, that´s what I hate about new installations. you always have to go and get your damn bookmarks again *lol*

I feel so lost without them..and I can't remember half the names of places I go occassionally. And then I have to get it to resave my passwords again. *sigh*

It's easier for me to do stuff with the XP..like updating files on my mp3 player. Before I had to do it via the laptop and is has USB 1.0..so it was slow as hell. But I do like my lovely black taskbar! :)

XP was a bit of a let down for me, lol. I thought it would be shinier than 2000, but so far it just takes up RAM.

Luckily I got some extra RAM a few months ago..so I'm noticing anything yet.

Bookmarks. Everytime my old computer would crash I would really be pissed because I had lost all of it. Even now I do when it happens. Last time I saved them to a cd, but I keep adding more and more... Good that you have Windows 98 backed up though. :D

I realized another drawback. I don't have any of my brushes for PSP X. I assume they would be in PSP 9. But...I haven't found that yet in the backup. *shrugs* I guess I can always download brushes again. (It's just finding the ones I like best now)
