Everyone in Netzak, now that the teleporters are fully functional, I have a small announcement to make. I will be heading to Rodney McKay's homeworld with him and the Doctor in the near future--but before that happens, I would like to head to my own world first to check up on things, make my reports, discuss matters with Emperor Peony, and so on. I ( Read more... )

Netzak only has four, as opposed to the hundreds that were present in Nhode. Since we have to set the coordinates manually, we have to know at the very least where you're from. In addition, there is a possibility that part of the reason Nhode fell is because an OSTA supporter snuck into Nhode and handed them tactical information that led to them figuring out Nhode's coordinates. While we are not ANTI per se, we definitely are not OSTA, and it was stated from the beginning that anyone who wasn't with them is against them. Ergo, our neutrality makes us a target. Do you agree that we must be cautious?

It is rather sad, isn't it? Thank you, Vash.

[It's all Wolfwood's fault.]

Jade-san... All of this... It seems this warrior's battle at home made it much too difficult to keep up communication here.

What exactly is this information needed for, now?

Hello, Ranmaru. It's been a while, hasn't it?

Since you've been gone for a while and I only just responded to the other exact same question, I'll repeat myself just this once. The information is needed to keep track of who comes and goes. We have only four teleporters that need to be set manually, so at the very least we need to know where you are so we can bring you over, and it would be nice if we know who you are, as there's a possibility one of the many people who had free reign to come and go as they pleased in Nhode sold information on its whereabouts to OSTA, leading to its downfall. It may be more inconvenient, but this should make things a bit safer--or at least easier to track down.

If it's security you're worried about, go ahead and screen your reply.

There has been much to look after... many friends have vanished as well.

Mmm... though that information is much appreciated. Things seem so much more restricted now, though...

Ranmaru is just worried for his Lords' safety, is all.

Of course. If you need more, there is a summary available.

I quite understand. And since you are worried for their safety, I'm sure you appreciate the need for security measures. After all, ANTI's base of operations, which was brimming with interdimensional civilians, was crushed in a single assault. People with any wits about them will learn from their mistakes and be more cautious so as to minimize further casualties and fatalities.

Your idea of fully functional is a little flawed, Jade. Never mind though. They work, that's what is important. Which is, of course, thanks to your's truly.

Reverse engineering one of the teleportation devices to find out how they work is going to be simple, as long as it's done carefully. A concept I doubt the Doctor has any knowledge of. Creating new ones is a much more difficult impossible task. However, I doubt that will stop you from thinking that it can stop me.

And please, do hurry up in your preparations. If it's all the same to you, I'd prefer to be in my safe, shielded home city. And the sooner, the better...obviously.

Hey now. I'm perfectly careful. At least, I know when you really have to be careful. Most of the stuff I've been dealing with has been easy enough to hammer my way through it, to be honest.

However, the sort of technology that these teleporters operate on is something my people didn't want to work with in the first place. The whole void and other dimensions and stuff. Yeah, so what it's possible, but it's still very dangerous to toy with.

This may be best if I leave you to work on it anyway. I'd find myself too biased to be of any good help with what you and Jade are looking to accomplish.

So. On that note, how about I worry about everyone in Netzak. Maybe I should get a cake? That would be awesome. Very sweet cakes are good with most kinds of tea anyway.

I once knew this lady back in the 1950's who made the most awesome raspberry cream cake. It was wonderful. Perhaps I could hop back and get us some? It shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes~

gotta love temporal relativity at times like this

A cake sounds wonderful, Doctor. I'd be delighted if you could go out of your way to pick up some for everyone. I don't suppose you'd be able to pick up an extra-large one for Ms. Milia?

Incidentally, someday I would be very interested in hearing more about your people.
