went to sonic youth last night. i went with myles and some of his friends. i think the first show we ever saw together (first of many to come). sonic youth was ok. very safe concert. and short too. they couldn't have played more than like, 15 songs. and 6 of those belonged to their TRIPLE encore! that song you're talking about on daydream nation is "eric's trip." its like my favorite sonic youth song. i was soooo happy. i did a little jump of joy. i thought they were really cute up there. i enjoyed the show a lot. but sonic youth is one of my favorite bands. ive spent most of my life listening to them so it was like a dream come true!

In high school, I thought you were intimidating. Now, I know you pee your pants and get drunk and dance to thriller on camera just like the rest of us. Also, I'm starting to suspect that you just might have a soul to boot. Damn, was I ever mistaken back in the day.
