This is simply the best Lily/James I have ever read. I hardly take the time to review to stories that are anything shy of excellent, so believe me when I say this is a great one. While there was not much of a plot, your portrayal of both Lily and James showed a deeper understanding of both the characters (therefore, making a storyline seem unnecessary and perhaps even arbitrary). This witty banter between the two of them is simply enthralling. I appreciated how you show Lily's ability to love someone like James without the suddenness that most other fanfic writers tend to incorporate. In regards to James, I was thrilled by the fact that you were able to maintain his arrogance while showing an endearing side as well. Perhaps the best thing about this story is that it seems as though it really could have happened. GREAT JOB!
