I broke down on Monday and joined the Goodlife by Mike's parents. I was almost never going to the gym at school and when I did it was either too busy or the treadmills were broken. So - on a much more positive note than I've been writing about lately - I was given some free haircut gift certificates by the PhDA president. However, they're for Chez Cheaveux and I don't think I can really go there - given Les Ciseaux is in the family. But I don't want them to go to waste so does anyone want one?

Wow it's been a while! Poor lappy is in the shop and has been for a while. It was not dealing very well even before that so I was limited to email and thesis work. Very disturbing! Wow! It's been 8 weeks since I updated here. I got out of the habit of thinking about livejournal when I was in China because it was banned there. But now I've read everyone's updated for the past two months - I missed a lot! So I'll do a quick update and try to be more consistant.

I was bored while I waited for the menu to print out yesterday so i wrote up the drinks menu. To get everything spaced nicely I decided to describe the soft drinks the way I described the wines and beers. So here it is:
