Family is good -- elder son is in second grade now, younger is three and completely dinosaur-mad. I'm still teaching microbiology to nursing students. We bought a house in my hometown, so my kids now get to go to the same school I did. *grin* None of my teachers are left, but elder son's new teacher once taught my little sister.
I agree completely. Who do we see about this, because it is the prime definition of "sucks". We've had snow flurries, hail, and rain today; the forecast for the rest of the week is for more of the same.
It's funny, there's a guy on my flist who just moved from Texas to Chicago, and his post about the first snowfall brought on a discussion in the comments about the difference in the Midwest between "snow that falls" and "snow that sticks".
Well, in Oregon we get mostly the "falling" kind and every kid just wishes and prays that it will stick justthisonetimeplease. I'm sure you know what the adults are thinking.

This was our first fall of the season -- nothing sticking of course but it was still a Sign of Things To Come.
