How cool! I love raptors; we're loaded with them around here. I feel sorry for the little birdies, though, and I did worry about our kitties when they were very small.

Yeah, it's not too common for us to see one that isn't a red-tail sitting on a fence post around here, so this was exciting!

This was definitely closer than I'd ever gotten to see one here at home. My dad and I saw an osprey haul a fish up to its nest when we were golfing in North Carolina a couple of months ago -- I don't think anything's going to top that for a while. *grin*
