Well, schellibie went and got me hooked on Fullmetal Alchemist, and now I know what it must have felt like for Avatar fans back in May of 2008 or so. I have read all the chapters, I have seen all the released episodes, and now I'm sitting on my hands waiting. This is why I prefer to enter a fandom after the canon is complete, dammit!

Ohhhh... I got into FMA this weekend and I'm on chapter 60 right now. :D It's pretty damn cool!

Well, there are two animes apparently. The first one (which I haven't seen) is complete, but they started a second one last year that follows the storyline from the manga much more faithfully (since there were several more years of manga to work with). It's called "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" and it's available on Hulu or on Funimation's website in subtitled versions. At least it is in the US, I don't know about Canada.

It doesn't look like it's actually available for purchasing yet. Funimation also has episodes (up to #49) up on Youtube, but again I don't know if there's a country-based block on them.
