Probably because I'm old, I don't sleep much.  At least during the night.
(What?  Those day time naps? No effect...none at all. Nhuh-uh.  Shut up).

So to while away the night time hours, I read a lot of blogs; mostly about writing and self publishing. Those aside, and I've mentioned him before, I love Chuck Wendig's Terribleminds blog.  He mostly ( Read more... )

Probably not. However you are bound to learn some new obscenities if you delve into his blog. I have. His books are pretty neat also. Good writer.

That soup sounds great, and I love the blog.

No oven? You poor dear. How do you survive?

I survive on either cooking something in a huge pot on top of the stove OR using the slow cooker OR using the outside grill OR buying frozen things that I can nuke in the microwave. I have a friend that's keeping an eye out for a cooker for me as he does a lot of home repair and renovation around the park. Right now baking anything is right out the window however.

Never fear! I will find one!
(And then there is going to be one HELL of a viking funeral!) MUAhahahaha!

I might drive out for that one. I'll bring ammo. I have been itching to kill a stove, but a cooktop will do until I can replace this poor old thing in the kitchen.

I should have done that instead of buying the damn laptop. The old thing is gallant, though, and it does hold temperature and 'warm' is warm.

WTF, can't watch prOn on a stove.

WTF, can't watch prOn on a stove. Glad to see you have your priorities sorted out, Lash. Wish I could join the two of you for the feast sad occasion. I've never given much thought to Viking funerals until I met you two, but now I'm dying to see one. (Which would provide us all with a reason for holding one, but I was speaking metaphorically.)

We will get a full report, though, won't we?
