They are one and the same, a single soul in two bodies, twinned and twined, each reflecting the other..

I cannot think how I might relate to you how much this line affects me. It is stunning and cold, best blade in your drawer becos this is their relationship in a blinding light. These characters are very beautiful...goes without saying they are fabulous looking and so very intensely firightening. Really knocks my socks off! Good tale of how much she and how quickly she grew to despise Robert, explaining how she was able to deal him such betrayal without a thought.

Cersei is a Lannister first, a Lannister last and a Lannister always This is so very telling as well, isn't it? I like very much the faith of blood to one's family. Good what you've writ--really tasty.

This caught my attention originally cause of Siken's lyrics BUT THERE IS SO MUCH MORE IN THIS.

I mean, gorgeous. Cersei/Jaime are soooo interesting in the show, ruthless when needed, and they love each other so much and SHE IS A LANNISTER FIRST SECOND AND ALWAYS, that is GORGEOUS and so beautifully written, and so true.

Ughhhhh, Siken is one of my favorite poets - I couldn't not use him here, and I'm so glad his lines drew you in :)

I am so glad the fic rang as true to the characters, especially Cersei. I may not like what she does, but I find her character absolutely fascinating, especially her relationship to her family, Jaime in particular - it's a huge part of who she is. Cersei is a woman, and a queen, but before all of that she is a Lannister, and that's something that's never going to change, stag cloak or no.

Thank you for the wonderful comment! ♥
