I've been pretty terrible about this LJ for a while now, but I am trying to ease my way back into fandom spaces that are not tumblr! I've really missed the fic and friend communities that LJ offers, so here I am! I have comments and fic and art to catch up on and post, so here's hoping that I see a lot of you guys in the coming months

I'm sorry I've been so absent - real life has a been a nightmare for pretty much two years solid. Things are finally a little better though, so I'm trying out this whole 'have a social life' thing again :)

Howdy piratista--good to hear from you. Feel like it's a funny fall--everyone is sorta poking they heads outta they dens for a last look see before we hunker down to the winter season and queso, the only reason why there should be winter in this child's opinion. (Pearlseed's winter.... below 80 degrees, Winter, below 70, bitter Winter, winter for more than 36-48 hours.... Ice Age!) (If God had of wanted me to be in cold weather, He would have furred me all over rather than just in spots!) I think I am getting a handle on my life changes except for this one little bit. I'm on a bizarre combo schedule of summer/work. I don't get wiggling good until about 3 p.m. and I'm not much interested in getting on the road really. Used to love road trips previous, but now, I like playing with my baby niece and nephew (5 and 3) and I am going to love going to their house tomorrow night. Thought about you the other day, don't ask what cos I am just so happy to say I know what month it is....can't remember from here to the door.... There's my

Pearl! I have missed you dearly. It's so good to hear from you! I'm finishing up my last little bit of college, and of course it's in the coldest part of the state - we're already hitting below zero at night, and I am a frozen piratista most days. I'm thinking a POTC rewatch is in order with my apartment mates so we can all drool over the warm weather and hot men :)

I owe you several little fics and ficlets - hopefully I should have those up for you soon!

I said it once already but I'll say it again - it's so wonderful to hear from you! I've missed the POTC community and blackpearlsails in particular, and I'm so happy to be reconnecting with all my LJ friends

Howdy, chica, how's things in your latitudes?

Long time back you said you were achieving completion of your studies. Now that's some kind of wonderful. Hope it's lead you where you wanted to go with lots of interesting side trips. I keep following my pesky inquisitive nose and being mostly happily impressed by what comes next.

I have been watching Those trailers....so eager! and trying to reconcile my own code with the imbalance in Mr. Depp's life. Reality, what a screaming intrusion to lovely fiction of dreams.
