My goal is to preserve the well being of the Mouri house and control the Inland Sea. That has not changed. There is a pressure, with a certain battle drawing nearer that I must align myself with a certain general as a stepping stone to my goals.

Then I find myself here, seemingly robbed of some of my protection from the sun. That is what I remember.

Perhaps we come from a similar period of time. You had not officially allied yourself with either side, as far as I am aware, by the time I was brought here. Shortly before I left both Ishida and Tokugawa sought my attention in order to form pacts with the Saika, but we had not yet chosen our path.
