I did some navel-gazing last night. The timing wasn't intentional. I had really intended to sleep. And I did. Sleep, that is. Just not as much as I would have liked ( Read more... )

Yipes...
I'm skimming at work, but wanted to mention the stuff that came to mind since I won't get back to this tonight.

Have you mentioned the joint pain and the rashes to your doctor in the same sentence? I ask, because those were the two things that helped FINALLY diagnose my lupus. A few anti-malarial months later, my joints were all bettah and I could knit and put my pants on in the morning without joint pain. If it's garden-variety arthritis, I'm not sure what the outlook would be, but some of this auto-immune stuff is very, VERY treatable. And since it's happening at a young age, it would be something to look into.

Yes, but it's not a progressive disease, and wouldn't you rather have something you can fix than something you just have to put up with?

I would. I dunno.

But I'm sorry, I didn't mean to taunt. :) I have great faith in your continued good health, especially since you've gone all kayak-crazy and gotten into your trim mode.

Hope the dr's visit went well, and the cold sweats were kept down to a minimum.
