Glam Nation UK recap…

Dec 03, 2010 01:25

God, I have no idea where to begin this. It seems like we've been waiting for it for so long, we lived part of it before it even happened. Guess it's like that in this age of YouTube and twitter.

I'm going to skip the whole organizing process… it was long and challenging at times and thanks to Gemma, Jo, Mandy, Lala and others, we (aka foreigners) ( Read more... )

Hi. I found you through twitter. I hope you don't mind my commenting but i just wanted to tell you that i love your recap. You were so lucky to make 3 of the UK venues. I wish i could have done more. It was my first and only time at the London show. I was happy to be there, at last.. but we were standing and didn't have a very good view. I would like to have queued earlier, ( we managed 3 hours) but with the intense cold that was impossible. I couldn't see too much ( i only realised what i missed when i checked out YouTube..lol!) .. but oh, his voice!!! "I was surprised at how much hearing his voice creates a physical reaction. It's hard to explain but it kinda washes over you, fills you, caresses, tingles, engulfs." That is SO what it is!! Thank you :)

I know you didn't do all the long assed queuing that a lot of people we know did, but spending any time outside at all (especially in this abnormal freeze we're enduring at the moment) is pretty hard. And I don't recall you whinging about it on Twitter like the rest of us, so kudos :P People like my friend Mish who lives in Florida tell me that when you live in a hot place, your blood thins to deal with it, so when the temperature drops, people with thinner blood feel it more acutely than people who are accustomed to it, so I can't really imagine what going from one extreme to another did to your body. You weren't in the best of health when you came here either so it doesn't surprise me that you're still not well, dropping 30 odd degrees won't have helped :P

Brits, you know I love you to death but you made queuing into a religion. -- LMAO. It's so true! No other country queues like this one. In any ( ... )
