We have this annoying bad habit of having shitty new years. . . Every year for the past several years something has happened to ruin New Years. Usually it's Christopher's New Years that gets ruined, which in turn ruins husbank's and my new years--cause a miserable kid can ruin your party real fast. Anyway, we were watching Dick Clark (Ack, so sad. . .I hate seeing him struggling)

I don't see why he's still doing it. I mean, it's not like he needs the money. It's just sad, not joyous, to see him.

Do you type "husbank" on purpose? Because you did it three times in your post.

it sounds like you really had a blast of a new years eve. i stayed up with my youngest son. he loves these things. then again, he hates going to bed early any night. it is like he might miss something. been that way since he was born. we watched the ball drop and said happy new year, hugged and that was it. I'm not sure how many more years Dick Clark will be on tv. he looks so old. His age is finally catching up with him I think. It was so cute to watch him kiss his wife however. made me a bit envious. i am so glad 2008 is over though. it was a rotten year. i am so hoping this year will be much better. At least this year I've got plans.

I dunno. . . The hiding didn't bother me much. . . Mari was happy he was there, so I suppose it was a good year for her. She's a teenager, that's what they do. I got to hug her for the new year when she could have been out with friends. . . So it was alright.

And yeah. . .It was a good new year. . .It really was!
