Web browsing and nerdy game shit

I realized today why I don't especially like reading things on my computer. The reason is quite simple: the computer is full of distractions. It's quite a dichotomy, since the computer is also full of all the information I am looking for. Of course, by computer, I'm referring to the internet more than anything. I find I have a similar problem with instruction manuals. The huge lumbering manual I got with my new music program is very informative, and very useful to me. The other program had a very crappy manual that was really just a supplement to the help files, and I have a hard time working with that other than to just troubleshoot a problem, but I don't feel like I'm learning the program without either video tutorials or a manual.

That always happens to me when working on my thesis (which requires a word processor of course) or PowerPoint presentations for lab. :Sigh:

Now, as you lie in bed to read, you have an unwanted distraction.
I decided to be silent until the paper is in front of you.
Someday I will learn not to bug ya while reading, unfortunately I suck at learning.
