I had forgotten how easy it was for me to get wrapped up in painting miniatures. It's really quite relaxing, I just never seem to have a place to work on them at. I like that unit, it looks sweet.

Honestly, I think the idea of painting the units is even more fun than the games themselves (which are also really fun) I only played a few times with you and Randy, but it's hard not to blow huge loads of cash on the units and paints. Something about having *that* much control over it is just... Megalomaniacally exhilarating.

Yeah, I've got a fuckton of pieces that I bought just so I could work on converting and painting them. It's because of that fact alone that miniatures gamers typically think of themselves as "hobbyists" before they are "gamers ( ... )
