Well, I finally gave up on my little neon. After 150,000 miles I've given up on chasing down its heating issues.

So since I'm in the mood and have the money I boughta Scion tC Release 5.0. Its basically this years package run tC and comes with the racing suspension standard.

So far I'm really enjoying it. I may get myself in trouble.

So, turns out my car's problem was a (fucking) thermostat and thermostat gasket. $25 worth in parts, over $100 worth in labor, and $80 worth in car rental fees ( Read more... )

For the last year or so I've been fighting heating problems on my car. I had the water pump replaced, and the radiator replaced. At the time, the problem was intermittent and seemed to go away.
