Corporate Layoffs

Today my company let several of my co workers go.  I actually received a retention package with a very generous severance.  Basically if i stay until the end of  Q1 09 I will be handsomely rewarded.  I am actually conflicted about this.
A part of me would love to do something different I've had this job for about 10 years.  On the other hand I made

I'm definitely staying. The retention incentives are quite lucrative :) especially for the US.
