Sometimes, I Wonder About My Brain

Nov 18, 2009 10:13

I woke up this morning from a dream in which I was watching television with my parents. The show was some current show I don't watch (and don't recall the name of (and which probably doesn't exist IRL)), but two of the guest characters for the episode were MacGyver and Stringfellow Hawk (remember Airwolf?) . The bad guys were after Hawk, but didn ( Read more... )

I do remember Airwolf, though I'm not sure why I remember Airwolf. It sounds like the sort of dream I've been having lately. (You've read those entries, right?)

You may be two days behind, but that still seems like you've gotten awfully far in your novel. Huzzah!

Um. No, I don't think so, though it's possible I've read and forgotten. I've been really sporadic around LJ this week. And I know why you remember Airwolf. It had a cute helicopter. *g*

And yes, huzzah! And this evening, my husband and I were kicking around possibilities for the Bad Guy's Dastardly Plot, and we came up with some. So, yay! Even though I went to karate tonight instead of writing and so will be even further behind tomorrow. But I'm about to at least write up a bunch of notes, and can be thinking up scenes tomorrow and hopefully get a bunch down tomorrow and Friday. (I must admit I'm pinning my hopes for ultimate recovery on Thanksgiving weekend, when we will have some social commitments but *no company*.)

LOL! Hey, I think you've inherited my random TV show blithering dreams that I stopped having during the sleep deprivation at my old apartment, dammit.

Congrats on the 25,000 words, but I kinda like the alternative ending you threatened them with. :D

That was one weird-ass dream. I quite often have long and plotty dreams with more continuity than is common, but television characters rarely appear.

I kinda like the alternative ending

So did I. Strangely enough it's the bad guys that are being most cooperative- they've divulged a bunch of Teh Evil Plan, and there may have to be a side excursion off the train to a sekrit mountain laboratory. I probably shouldn't let them know what their eventual fate is...villains never fare well in thrillers!
