Nah, it's just you.... everyone else is just thrilled that those poor downtrodden wretches are willing to help us rebuild and bring peace to a troubled region.

my suspicion is that we whacked several vital folks this time out, and that the cumulative efforts at attacking their leadership are reaching critical mass in their organization.

I think the truce offer means we hurt them badly when those individuals ate the proverbial lead sandwich, and they're looking for time to regroup. Fanatics do not suddenly become moderates overnight, and not for nothin'.
