Was reading today and happened to glance down at left hand, noticing absence of wedding ring. Quick check of other hand confirmed further absence. Further investigation of area where ring was last removed (I was pouring resin molds and the ring made the stirring of the thick silicone mixture uncomfortable) and continuing search and rescue mission

It's odd how we develop that emotional connection to...well...objects. Things. but I know exactly what you mean. Just the other day a necklace my mom gave me that I've been wearing for years broke. And my mom's still around, and more than happy to replace it with a brand spanking new one...but dammit...I LOVED that necklace and everything it stood for.

I think like after a break up, and it's hard to start dating again...well it can be the same with the stuff we get attached to. Now you need to reform emotional bond and reinvest all thoes feelings into something new. And it is hard ;)

So it's ok to be sad about it, just know that it won't last forever :)
