Work woes....

Well, work is about to get a whole lot harder now. The other guy who worked in the department with me (and was essentially my supervisor) has resigned, moving onto greener pastures and all, leaving me essentially by myself. My boss is going to take over his paperwork (thank heavens) but that still means that all the shelf stocking will have to be ( Read more... )

Do you think they'll bring someone new in to fill the position quickly?

No, probably more towards christmas time, or at least more towards summer. Even then, it will be more about helping fill the shelves than taking over from him.

Yes. Not right away, I would need training and such. But I can see myself in that position.

While less people may mean more work for you for a while, at least it gives you the chance to show you are capable of being a supervisor - make yourself the incumbent to beat!

Even if you don't do the paperwork, it might be an idea to feign some interest - like doing the simple stuff so big boss man doesn't have to.
