*Jumps on opportunity*

Here are my suggestions:
Bonnie Bennet (The Vampire Diaries) - WOC, incredible storyline, gets hate from fans all the time
Ruby Lucas / Red Riding Hood (Once Upon a Time) - because she's awesome
Jo Harvelle (Supernatural) - I just really don't want Dean to win all right?

Oh, and
Dan Humphrey (Gossip Girl) - Ok, the rationale behind this is that in the very last episode of the series, Dan was retconned into being 'Gossip Girl' (and it was a retcon) for the writer's ship reasons, thus making no sense whatsoever. But it is hilarious, the internet memes about its ridiculousness are hilarious, and the campaign would be the absolute funniest thing and we shouldn't be denied it. You should vote for him because Dan obviously identifies as female (what with being gossip girl), signs every second message he sends with 'xoxo', and is the secret information hub of the show.

Who are you voting for in True Blood? I was originally going for Tara, but now I'm trying to get as many votes for Jessica as I can, so that Eric can ( ... )

I don't have a deep investment, but I suggest voting for Korra in the Avatar/Legend of Korra bracket. She won't win, but I think she deserves some points for being:
  • a lady character who is The Chosen One who can do things no other character in the show can do
  • not white (though her VA is, which... well)
  • confident to the point of arrogance, literally to a fault -- it's a character flaw
  • excellent character design look at her -- actually drawn realistically strong, muscley and built, for someone who would spend her life being very physically active, and in an outfit that makes sense for someone constantly physically active
  • total Harry Potter syndrome of wanting to help but rushing in without making any kind of concrete plan

Korra wasn't quite as well-developed in s1 as she ought to have been, but the above reasons are why I find her really refreshing as a protagonist and main character, especially on a show aimed at a general audience and not specifically at little girls.
